Half Day Tour

It is a stroll round the old part of town, beginning at The Square of San Vicente where we will visit the magnificent / great restoration work done on the tomb of the Saint Martyrs to whom the Basilica is dedicated to. This tomb is a beautiful example of Romanesque style.

We’ll continue our tour towards the Cathedral, a fortress-temple considered to be the first Gothic cathedral in Spain.

Next we’ll follow the “route of the Palaces” to reach Saint Theresa’s Convent, birthplace of the first female Doctor of the Church.

Full Day Tour

Morning: same as half-day tour.

Afternoon: after enjoying the fabulous cuisine of Ávila, the visit / tour continues heading for the Monastery of La Encarnación and the Monastery of Saint Thomas.

Visita nocturna

Realmente es una forma diferente de visitar una ciudad. En el caso de Ávila, uno parece trasladarse a otra época, escuchando el eco de tus pisadas cuando atraviesas las distintas puertas de la Muralla, una ruta que nos llevará al anochecer, a través de calles y plazas , rincones que con el bullicio del día no percibes de la misma manera.


El recorrido comienza en la Pl. del Ayuntamiento o Mercado Chico , déjate llevar durante casi dos horas y disfruta!!!

  • Horario de verano : salida a las 22 h
  • Horario de invierno : salida a las 20 h

Visita guiada y tapas en la noche de Ávila

Tenemos una variante que llamamos visita guiada y tapas en la noche de Ávila. En ella, además de hacer una visita nocturna, haremos paradas para degustar alguna que otra tapa en los bares del casco antiguo (a perfilar).


Teresian Tour

On this tour we’ll discover the most important monuments / places related to Saint Theresa like her birthplace or  the Convent of Saint Theresa. Also the Convent of Saint Joseph, first reformed Carmelite convent which until May 2013 commemorates its 450th anniversary with a Jubilee Year. On visiting the Convent or attending religious services until 24th May 2013 you’ll obtain plenary indulgence. The Monastery of La Encanación where, being just 20 years old,  she became a novice in 1535. This monastery reflects how life was before she started the Reform of the Carmelite Order.
